Booker T. Washington “Bukka” White is an esteemed member of the Blues Hall of Fame for his distinctive take on Delta-country blues. The singer/guitarist White plied his wares across the deep south from the 1930’s on, and featured on the ‘Memphis Country Blues Festival’ live album in 1968, before going on to release the full length ‘Memphis Hot Shots’ via Blue Horizon in 1969. White died in 1977.
